About Conference

THE CONFERENCE

In an era where public trust in governance is directly linked to how public resources are managed, Public Financial Management (PFM) and Fiscal Accountability have emerged as critical pillars for sustainable development. Governments, development partners, and civil society are increasingly recognizing that fiscal discipline, transparency, and efficient resource allocation are not only governance imperatives but also development necessities.

The 2026 Public Financial Management and Fiscal Accountability Conference (PFMFA–2026) provides a unique platform for policymakers, practitioners, academics, and civil society to engage in meaningful dialogue, share innovations, and promote collaborative approaches to fiscal governance.
